Hillside Coffee and Donut Co in El Paso

Latte was great! Had salad and corn chowder but chowder was lukewarm, hummus was delicious, overnight oats were pretty good. Didn’t have donuts but they looked delicious. Definitely worth coming for coffee and a quick bite.

They're a great spot for a coffee and/or a doughnut. Both were very enjoyable last time I stopped and I've quickly made a second visit. I had a breakfast sandwich (also very good). The whole place feels a little like LA. A fun departure from the hills of El Paso.

Great coffee shop where you can study or hangout with some delicious drinks and food. Definitely got that hipster vibe going for it.

Awesome hangout for grabbing a sweet or plopping down and studying for the evening. It provides all the comforts of home along with the delicious coffee, donuts, and sweet baristas. Definitely visit with the intent to stay for a while.

They NEVER have nitro. Had to give up coming here due to the extreme level of inconsistency. Apparently, you can also only make one kind of donut during the pandemic.... I dunno. Whole place was weird. I understand new policies to help keep people safe but it doesn’t mean you stop doing everything you previously did well.

It was my first time having coffee here and it was so good. I totally recommend this place. The atmosphere is so nice.

One of my favorite coffee houses in El Paso. Whenever I'm on the west side of town I make sure to stop by. Staff is always friendly and their coffee and donuts are yummy. The whole place has a good vibe . Highly recommend

Great coffee, great food, great service and awesome donuts 🍩🍩🍩 and the ambiance is simply perfect, cozy, comfortable. Definitely a place to meet and have a good time with your friends, family, coworkers. Curious info: They have a artsy chalkboard full with the local events of the month. Parking is not a problem, and location is very convenient for Central and West areas.

The staff was phenomenal. Showed up late and still made me a coffee, free amazing donut, and smiled. What great service. We need more hillside in our lives. Be more like hillside .

I waited an hour at a non peak time for my order, and 2 of 3 employees didn't wear a mask. I ended up getting a refund because it didn't feel safe, and the orders still weren't ready. Many of the customers were also not wearing a mask.

We got the mushrooms sandwiches was delicious, my daughter got the bacon sandwiches she said it was immaculate, and the my son got chorizo one he said it was so good, i got the abuelitas coffee and we got the abuelitas doughnuts , very good. New West place for sure.

Great coffee and awesome place to spend the evening studying or meeting up with a friend. Food is also solid! I’ve tried the tomato soup which I recommend.

Excellent espresso drinks. Definitely the best I've had in El Paso. The donuts were remarkable as well. The salads and sandwiches looked great; I'll have to try them next time.

The food and drinks are great but every time that I order I've been forced to wait nearly 30 mins for a sandwich.

The coffee and pastries were delicious and the service was great. Super friendly people and a great ambiance. The music isn't overly loud like most local Starbucks so you can come here and focus on your work if you decide to bring it with you. Don't be afraid their breakfast and lunch meals. Very happy and will definitely be back

Hillside is my favorite place to study in town. Although I did live in the apartments close by, it was still a great place for a quick coffee or snack. The donuts are always great and they have a great menu for breakfast/lunch. My favorite combo is the avacado BLT paired with an iced tea. They also have tables outside as well if you feel like sitting out during nice weather.

Maybe I went on the wrong day? Because the donuts my daughter and I decided to try were extremely dry. Very disappointing for the good reviews I had seen before we went. Not worth the money in my opinion and the staff was unpleasant.

Hillside on North Mesa has exceptional customer service. I went one day as and they forgot my order, the next time went back they remembered that the last time I was there they forgot my order and offered me a menu item on the house. For an establishment to remember a customer with all the customers they get shows, they are very attentive to thier clientele.

Nothing like a quick coffee stop and some absolutely awesome looking donuts to spice your morning up. I don’t eat the donuts but if I ate donuts I would eat them from here!

Ordered 7 items, two biscuits, pancakes, fruit, granola and 2 drinks. Started being told they no longer had fruit available on the menu, yet the board had it, and the " new" menu had it. They quickly figured out they did have it. Then, received my order minus the pancakes. THEN,Tried getting a refund and they had no clue how. I was told to leave my name and they would call me back. THEN, they said manager not available until the following day. Bad 1st and last experience. I hope I can at least get my refund .

This place is a great place to study or bring a friend. It had nice seating and the coffee is to die for!

Good location, nice customer service, and a wonderful backdrop that goes really well with the sound and smell of blended coffee beans. So why the three stars? Flies, and lots of them. The closer you are to the entrance the less flies there are, but towards the back is a hectic scene of flies everywhere. They leave the door open from time to time, which really might be the verdict. My suggestion? Go durind the colder times of the year for a fuller experience, but more importantly to avoid the flies.

Hillside Coffee and Donut is located in a hip new shopping, dining, and entertainment complex in west El Paso. I enjoyed the coffee, pastry, and donuts I had there, a welcome break from the typical coffee and donut chain outlets. My favorite item was the PB&J donut with bacon, all of my favorites in a convenient had held package. This may well be the ultimate snack!

Got a yummy $2.60 small medium roast coffee, the place is hip and relaxing. Friendly staff. It’s not fast, but I wouldn’t come here in a hurry but to chill.

Square donuts? Yeess. The Nutella banana one is delicious. Nice decoration. Quiet enough to take a break or do homework.

I went to the East side location. When I ordered the Strawberry Almond Chicken Salad, I expected spinach or lettuce you know like a salad..... wrong type of salad I guess. They could be a little more specific on the menu. I was in a rush to get back to work so I wasn’t able to check it before I left but If I had I would’ve returned it. Left my bread mushy and was unable to eat it. Donuts are to die for though.

Casually eclectic coffee shop with a relaxed, youthful vibe. Seems like the perfect spot to set up camp for a few hours with a book or laptop. Their wall-chalkboard calendar of events is pretty cool, as are the light fighting and other minor design details.Mango smoothie was delicious, blueberry tea and latte both got good reviews from friends too. Their donuts are made in house and come in a range of delicious and creative flavours like "Oreo crumble on Cheesecake icing".

Best almond milk latte ever. Never going to Starbucks again.

Coffee is good but the food is not. There’s no other coffee place here that cuts off their breakfast food at a certain time but this place does at noon. Love their egg white sandwich but they only serve it in the morning. The non-pork/beef/chicken options for their lunch menu sucks for people that do not eat pork/beef/chicken which is why they need to keep the breakfast menu all day OR add some egg/shrimp/fish for lunch!

Ordered two teas through the drive thru and had to wait about 15 minutes to get my order. It seemed as if they simply forgot about me, as there were no other customers in sight. When I finally received my drinks, they weren’t prepared the way I requested. Tried to contact the management for a refund, via the e-mail address provided on their website, and the e-mail address didn’t even work/isn’t valid. Ridiculous!

My son got me a coffee from there. First time going the coffee was halfway served.... never again😠😠

Been to Hillside 10-15 times to study. Really good lattes (2 espresso shots in a 12oz vs Starbucks being only 1 espresso shot in a 12oz), very friendly staff, and the food is solid for a coffee shop esp breakfast!

Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. Is much much more then a trendy coffee shop. It goes without saying their sweets and coffees are top tier, but it is the atmosphere, the people and the unexpecteds that make it unique. For example, you can order hot food from 2 nearby restaurants. And they sell not only wine but beer as well. And to top it all off a trivia night with prizes or an open mic could be going on. Love this place!
